But the procedures he went through do not represent a cure for all HIV/AIDS patients, as they are risky and not proven to work in everyone.      The good news: there’s a cure for AIDS! The bad news: it only works if you can find a compatible stem cell donor with an obscure mutation that is only found in Caucasians, you have the type of HIV that can’t spread if you have the mutation, and you survive the transplant.
